Client story:

Arrowhead clients were looking for an enhanced process to request and track expedited orders. Generally these involve sales or administrative staff who are looking for product for an upcoming sales meeting, trade show, etc. Although not intentionally, many of these orders are placed last minute due to various reasons and therefore need to be expedited.

Arrowhead’s solution:

Arrowhead was in a perfect position to leverage new and existing ordering platforms it builds for clients to deliver a new feature that would allow clients to select expedited ordering and have Arrowhead handle all of the logistics through automation on the backend.

The new feature, FastTrackTM, allows clients to choose their delivery window within their existing ordering platform, and supply contact information should questions arise. The process is easy, and provides clients with tracking information on their order.

Results:

One of Arrowhead’s personal care products clients, with a portfolio of more than a dozen brands, as well as additional private-label brands, was the first to utilize the new system.

FastTrackTM has saved the client special handling and warehouse fees associated with the old ordering process. For clients that typically require numerous rush orders in the course of a year, savings can be significant.

FastTrackTM also saves time for the client, as orders can be placed immediately, without having to connect directly with a team member to manually place the order. This also enables Arrowhead’s team members to more effectively utilize their time to serve their needs in other ways.

Additionally, clients now receive automated alerts on the progress of their order, including whether it has been fulfilled, partially fulfilled or cancelled. Tracking information is also sent automatically so clients can track their order right to their doorstep.
