Boveda is a leading manufacturer of humidity control products for wood instruments, tobacco, hemp, and cannabis. With this growing market, Boveda needed to educate consumers, particularly through Budtenders, the key influencers in dispensaries. The goal was to incentivize Budtenders in Illinois to complete a training video that would help them educate customers.

Creating an Engaging Training Platform

Budtenders were first screened to ensure they were of legal age, addressing compliance concerns in the highly regulated cannabis market. The platform prevented users from skipping through the video by making it “un-scrubbable,” ensuring the content was watched in full. Afterward, Budtenders were required to pass a quiz to demonstrate their understanding of the material. To encourage participation, Arrowhead curated appealing branded swag that incentivized Budtenders for their time and engagement.

Within the first few days, nearly half of the target audience watched the video and passed the quiz, surpassing Boveda’s goals for the promotion.
